Here are 3 simple steps to get started

Remember, you don’t need to be a computer wizard to use Carbonite:

Step 1 - Sign up

Sign up for your FREE 15 Day Trial—A credit card is not required,
just provide an email address and password.

Step 2 - Install

Install (on page link) the Carbonite Software—This will only take a minute or two.

Step 3 - Run Carbonite

Run the Carbonite Program—Carbonite will automatically start backing up your files and you can continue using your computer at the same time.

Once Carbonite starts working, you will see colored dots appear on their files and folders. Our customers love this feature because it continuously shows what’s backed up, and what not. And of course, the software lets them easily add files or folders to their backup.

Carbonite works completely in the background –backing up new and modified files. In fact, many of our customers tell us that they forget they have Carbonite – until something happens to their files.

If a user wants to see what Carbonite is up to, the InfoCenter is easily accessible from the Windows task bar. The InfoCenter shows every detail of the backup status including restore information, scheduling options, and Customer Service information.

Note: This first back up may take a while depending on your internet connection and the amount of data being backed up.
